Yay! I have just heard that my short story Meena has been chosen to be one of the 19 stories in the Bridge House LLP anthology Gentle Footprints. It was even read and approved by the Born Free foundation!

The anthology will have a foreword by Virginia McKenna (the actress fromthe Born Free movie and founder of the Foundation) and one of the short stories will be by Richard Adams, author of Watership Down.

£1 of every sale goes to the Born Free Foundation and authors can choose to have their royalties to keep or to be donated to the foundation (which is what I am going to do).

So in celebration here is a little Born Free tribute...

Congrats Dulcie,

Let's hope they get this one published on time! I've just received my copy of Twelve Days. It hit the metaphorical shelves about a week ago, although it was meant to come out in mid November in time for Christmas - hence the title.

Lovely people at Bridge House, but maybe not the best timekeepers!

Well done! I'm in there too, with two! Well, two parts to one story really. Looking forward to Hay, if I can find anywhere to stay over!

I can't go as I am at work that day   :-(    It should be really good though so I am jealous if you manage to get there.

We seem to be bumping into each other in our various writing ventures for 2010 though :-)   A good publishing year. Welcome to P&P.
