for Wyvern Magazine...

Wyvern Magazine

Magazine features, ideas, and pitches can be submitted at any time and response time varies greatly.  We are always on the lookout for new fiction, flash fiction, features on authors, artists, and 'how to' articles.  Book reviews for teen and YA are also very welcome.  Payment at this time is one free copy of the publication, but as our readership grows, payments to authors and writers will grow too.  Please put Magazine Submission in the head of your e-submission and send to: wyvernpublications@googlemail.com.  We also award a free copy of the magazine to published reader letters.

We are seeking:
-flash fiction (fiction under 1,200 words)
    -poetry (with a teen slant)
-reader letters (under 300 words please)
-features (on teen issues, teen fiction, writing tips, etc; should be around 1,000 words)
-'how to' articles (from 500-900 words)
    -book reviews (300-500 words)

Submission Tips for Fiction:

* The editors at Wyvern Publications prefer Times New Roman 12pt font and double spacing.
Please remember to put your name and page numbers on all pages of your manuscripts, even if it is e-mailed.
Please ensure that your e-mail address is included in the cover letter.
Bios are wonderful to read and should include something interesting about the author and be roughly from 75-200 words.  Please don't send a three page story of your life; a brief outline will do just fine.
Your writing history need not be too detailed and we consider all relevant contributions regardless of the author's publishing history.
